'Making California Great' Survey Invite

The California State PTA has been partnering the last year with the California School Boards Association, the League of Women Voters of California, and Children Now on a project funded by a grant from the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation to assess how education is viewed in California and what, if any, reform measures may be recommended to improve our educational system. We have participated in interviews with key individuals around the state and held several focus group discussions within our own organization. Now we want to hear from our most powerful group, our grassroots membership.

Please take the time to visit www.capta.org, click on the link on the home page entitled: “take the Making California Great Again survey, and share your views about our educational system with us. The survey will only be available from September 1 through September 20, so be sure to do it as soon as possible, and get the word out to any PTA members you know.

We would also like to reassure you that your responses will never be linked with your name or email addresses, and will be used only for statistical purposes of this study.

I look forward to working with you to find ways to benefit all children in our state and to make California's schools great again.
