Registration Information

HOW TO REGISTER

Complete the registration form found on page 15. You may duplicate the form for additional attendees or download the forms from www.capta.org. Detailed instructions for completing the registration process are found on pages 14 and 18.

Your registration fee entitles you to attend the general meetings, conferences and the exhibit hall. You must pay an additional fee to attend the "Starry, Starry Night" event. Once you have registered at convention you may not transfer your registration to another person. Name badges will be provided to each person attending convention, a $35 fee will be charged to replace a lost badge.

Early Registration Procedure

To qualify for Early Registration, you must register prior to your council/district PTA deadline date. This includes completing the registration form, attaching a copy of your current 2004-2005 PTA membership card and submitting all registration materials and payment to the next level of PTA as directed.

Early Registration is processed through the district PTA only. Each district has its own procedures and deadlines. Contact your district PTA president or district convention chairman for applicable procedures/deadlines in your area. If you do not know how to contact your district PTA, please call the California State PTA office at 213.620.1100 for information. Advance Registration Procedure

If you are registering after your district PTA deadline date, you may register by submitting your information directly to the California State PTA to arrive no later than April 12, 2005.

Submit registration form, current copy of your 2004-2005 PTA membership card and a check payable to California State PTAfor the Advance Registration Fee amount. Send to:

You must send a copy of your registration form and a check for council/district PTA fees to your district PTA to arrive no later than April 12, 2005.

NOTE: If the April 12, 2005, deadline date is missed, then you must register on-site.

Confirmation of Registration

Confirmation for registration received by April 12th will be distributed through district PTAs. Please contact your district PTA for information and timeline for distribution. Please bring your bar-coded confirmation letter to the convention registration booths for express service.

On-Site Registration

On-Site Registration begins at 6:00 p.m. on April 27th, at the Sacramento Convention Center. Delegates and nonvoting registrants who did not pre-register by April 12, 2005 are to register at the On-Site Registration Booth during regularly scheduled registration hours. Those registering on-site must present a current 2004-2005 PTA membership card, complete an on-site registration form, and pay registration fees. If a current 2004- 2005 PTAmembership card is not presented, the registrant will have to pay the $300.00 non-member on-site registration fee and will not be eligible to vote in general sessions. Conferences may be selected on a space-available basis.
