Membership Awards

California State PTA provides a number of membership incentives to PTAs. These are awards and challenges based upon per capita remittances received by the California State PTA office by specified due dates., and applications are not necessary.

A new award was introduced for 2011-12 - the Ready, Set…Remit! Award - which replaced the retired Early Bird and Chairman's Club awards. Memberships for 30 members must reach the state office through channels by October 30th for a unit to qualify.

The California State PTA due dates are included each year in the service mailing to unit presidents. However, PTAs should check with their council (if in council) or their district PTA for the due dates in their area.

Districts and councils are strongly encouraged to develop their own membership incentive and award programs to recognize great campaign ideas and best practices, as well as membership growth.
