California State PTA provides a number of membership incentives to PTAs such as Early Bird, Chairman’s Club, yearly Membership Challenge and special awards for district PTAs. These awards and challenges are based upon per capita remittances received by the California State PTA office by specified due dates.

The California State PTA due dates are included each year in the service mailing to unit presidents. However, PTAs should check with their council (if in council) or their district PTA for the due dates in their area.

Districts and councils are strongly encouraged to develop their own membership incentive and award programs to recognize great campaign ideas and best practices, as well as membership growth.
