The California State PTA Emerging Minority Leaders Conference is designed to respond to the growing diversity in our public schools and communities and to help PTAs throughout the state best serve all children and families. Participants from across the state will have the opportunity to learn about cultural competence, network with other parent leaders, and take home practical strategies for increasing inclusion and PTA involvement in their schools.

Interact with a top-notch lineup of speakers and panelists, including:

  • Pam Brady, President, California State PTA

  • Dr. Carl Wong, Superintendent, Sonoma County Office of Education

    Registration to the California Emerging Minority Leaders Conference is open to all unit, council, district, and state leaders. The registration fee of $65 covers all conference materials and meals on Saturday.

    This conference is especially for you if you are interested in growing as a PTA leader, and want an opportunity to share experiences with fellow emerging minority PTA leaders.
